Measure For A Tuxedo Shirt
Measure Your Neck: With your shirt unbuttoned, place the tape measure around your neck where the top of your shirt collar would be. Be certain that the tape is not twisted and is level around your neck. Be sure that one finger can fit inside the collar for a little breathing room.
Measure Your Sleeve: To measure your sleeve, place the start of the tape measure at the back of the neck as seen in photo (left). Then drape the measuring tape over your shoulder and to the spot you would like your shirt sleeve to stop. If you like your shirt cuffs to be in that same spot when you bring your arms forward add an inch to the measurement. Remember that longer sleeves are better than shorter sleeves and buttoned sleeves will halt the sleeve from going further than your wrist.
